Hope’s End

Gamepathy Game Jam | 2026
Narrative Designer | Game Designer | Level Designer

PROJECT
Hope’s End is a story-driven psychological horror prototype developed in RPG Maker MZ during the Gamepathy Game Jam 2026. Set in rural Pennsylvania in the late 1980s, the game follows Elaine Callahan as she searches for her missing sister in the isolated village of Hope Creek. Combining environmental storytelling, psychological horror, and a dual-reality gameplay mechanic, the project explores themes of mystery, loss, and occultism, with a strong focus on atmosphere, narrative immersion, and environmental puzzle-solving.

MY CONTRIBUTION
Developed as a two-person team, I was responsible for the narrative and game design, as well as the practical implementation of the game in RPG Maker MZ. My work included level design, puzzle design and implementation and engine work.
I also created and adapted visual and audio assets for the game, including original sound recordings and 2D tilesets. I illustrated custom tilesets and modified and recolored RPG Maker’s existing assets to match the game’s visual direction. Additionally, I provided voice-over recordings for the project.

PROJECT
Offering is a horror JRPG prototype developed in RPG Maker MZ. The demo transports players to Carinthia, Austria, in 1953, where they take on the role of Amalia, a newly hired housemaid at the remote mansion of the Graf family. As Amalia gradually becomes familiar with the house and its inhabitants, it soon becomes apparent that something is deeply wrong.
The demo was developed during Global Game Jam 2026 at the IFgameSH jam site at Starterkitchen Kiel.

Gone Forever

Global Game Jam | 2025
Narrative Designer | Game Designer | 2D Artist | Sound Designer

PROJECT
In 2025, I participated in the Global Game Jam for the first time. Together with my team, I developed a prototype for a point-and-click escape adventure using Unity, drawing inspiration from the surreal atmosphere and exploration-driven gameplay of games such as the Cube Escape series.
The project placed a strong emphasis on atmosphere, distinctive sound design, and a four-wall sliding system, allowing players to seamlessly navigate between different 2D perspectives of the same room. My creative focus was on using visual and auditory stimuli to create a surreal world that feels familiar at first glance, yet increasingly strange as the player explores it.

MY CONTRIBUTION
I was responsible for the narrative and game design, as well as the 2D art and sound design. I created all hand-drawn 2D assets for the game and developed its soundscape, with a large portion of the sounds being recorded specifically for the project. I also provided a voice-over for the game.
